Review

The car has been wonderful in every way. The day after purchasing it, I was driving on the interstate and I saw a sign that said, "Blueridge Parkway next right". I took it and was really amazed! The TL owned the road. It felt like a convertible with the sunroof open and the windows down, and it hugged the turns. Then I got back on the interstate and it felt like a quiet, smooth luxury car. The TL has both personalities, sports car and luxury car, and it excels at both.

Favorite Features

Manual 6-speed, sound system, handling, constant acceleration, overall quality.

Suggested Improvements

The rear seats tend to puff up in the middle. (Talk about being picky.)

Review

Great ride/interior. Good cornering and stopping. Low noise level. Can't wait for the new 2007 with beefed up engine.

Favorite Features

Comfortable handling for aggressive drivers.

Suggested Improvements

veryveryverybad selection of tires for this vehicle/should have been michelins the bridgestone tiranza are not built for this vehicle, very short life

Driver's Car

Review

I have only had the TL for 2 weeks now, but this is one amazing car! I have always loved Honda products, and this one is no exception! This is by far the most comfortable, easy to drive car I have driven in a long long time! I had my dealer search for this one and waited for over a month to get it. Nighthawk Black Pearl with Quartz (Grey) leather and Navigation! Seems to be a rare combo around here... and it makes for one sharp car! Much much better value dollar wise than the BMW 3 or 5 Series. Especially given the amount of standard features on the TL that you have to pay extra for on the BMW. Navigation was a bargain compared to others as well. Look at this car if shopping!

Favorite Features

Navigation system is awesome! Bluetooth is great convienence - I'm always on the phone for work - no more holding the phone to the ear! Great seats! Sound system has to be heard to be believed, especially with a DVD-A playing in it!

Suggested Improvements

None I can think of for now!

Great Technology

Review

The TL is a great value, and seems to outperform the other cars in this class in standard features for the money. We really love the Bluetooth feature, as it allows us to dial, talk, and hangup without taking our hands off the steering wheel. Unlike some Bluetooth headsets, there is no annoying echo when you talk to using it either. The iPod connection (optional) does allow you to control your iPod through the stereo system, although it doesn't display the song information, or allow you to navigate playlists. Hopefully they will update the software and make this more useful in the near future, but I am not holding my breath.

Favorite Features

We really like the technology that was available with the the Navi system. The Bluetooth Handsfree is great, and you can store up to 50 #'s in the car.

Suggested Improvements

The sports shift is also neat, but I would have put it on the steering column. Bluetooth is great, but I wish I didn't have to pair it everytime, it only seems to remember one of our bluetooth phones at a time, even though we can supposedly store up to six.

For the price would not get any other car in it's class. It has everything you need plus amazing extras. This is my second TL (1997 3.2tl).

Favorite Features

Blue Tooth, XM radio.

Suggested Improvements

CD/MP3 player would be nice.

This is the smoothest Car I've ever driven, It's got speed and power and class but what impresses me most is how smooth it drives and how many features it has.

It's got almost everything in the right place.

One of the smoothest rides I've encountered. Worth all of the sticker and then some. Unexpected response and power manual and auto.

Favorite Features

Alecia, my navi system with the sweet voice. Has taken me x country 3 times with no problems.

Suggested Improvements

Wheels are too soft. Pittsburgh is pot hole city. I've damaged 4 so far.

Review

Have had the car for two weeks, been an absolute joy to drive. Agree with some previous raters, this should be rear wheel drive (although I'm surprised by how well Acura has managed the torque steer). Interior fit and finish are excellent, cabin layout is efficient and well done. Looked at 3 and 5 series as well as G35/M, when adding in the cost component, this car doesn't take a back seat to any of the aforementioned cars.

Favorite Features

Excellent acceleration and handling characteristics (for FWD). Interior layout, for size, excellent leg room.

First time Acura owner

Review

A loyal Honda owner, I thought it was time to move up the food chain and try an Acura. This is a fantastic car - powerful, full of feartures, great looking and I know I have the reputation of Honda behind it. My only reservation is with the total cost of ownership - requires the expensive gas, the tires are rumored to cost upwards of $300 a piece (and I didn't buy the high performance tires, the stock tires are W rated), and I'm guessing the repairs, when I face them, won't be cheap.

Favorite Features

Leather - high quality and perforated, bluetooth handsfree link, 6-sp and clutch are very smooth.

Suggested Improvements

Use a little less plastic in the interior. Less expensive tires.

Love This Car!!!

Review

After much test driving of many cars we were sold on the new TL. It took us several months of looking at several different cars, but we always came back to and compared them all to the TL. This car is so much fun to drive, I find reasons to run to the store to pick up groceries! The gas mileage has been terrific, averaging about 27 miles to the gallon. We have taken trips to Indianapolis several times, and it has been a pleasure to drive. The interior space is comfortable, quiet, and spacious. Our 6'7" son rides very comfortably in the front seat, as well as the back seat. We love our new TL.

Favorite Features

The sound system is top shelf. And the driver's seat is one of the most comfortable we have ever had in a new car.

Suggested Improvements

We really have no comments on improvement. The white diamond paint finish is terrific, and the ebony interior is outstanding along with all the controls are conveniently located.
