Nice Car, Poor Service
Vehicle
2006 Acura TL 4dr Sedan w/Nav System (3.2L 6cyl 5A)
Review
I had a volvo previously and I liked that car. I bought this car, since the S60 is outdated and this car is definitely the best buy, nice dash layout and the most friendly car I've had. The navigation system is by far the best available in the market. The car rides fine if handling is not a key factor. At high speed and when taking curves there are some lateral unwanted moves that make you lose control of the car.
Favorite Features
Navigation system, bluetooth, nice steering leather, voice command system, sport shift transmission, etc
Suggested Improvements
The suspension should be adjusted to make this a true sport sedan. Also the pockets in the doors should be made in a way that when cruising at 60 or 70 MPH they don't sound loose.
Good car for a front wheel drive
Vehicle
2006 Acura TL 4dr Sedan w/Nav System (3.2L 6cyl 5A)
Review
My TL was a superb choice in my price category. The only issues I have is they have problems with their front windshield, as mine was broken and I have heard of others, also car should really be a rear wheel drive to counter the stability problems when really putting on the speed, either at start up, or passing. The rear exterior design is very boring with the TSX/RSX more sporty. It should be the other way round IMHO.
Favorite Features
Cockpit, handling, noise level, NAV system.
Suggested Improvements
Improve exterior rear syling. Use thicker front glass, and make it a posi rear.
Acura TL with Nav 6 Month Review
Vehicle
2006 Acura TL 4dr Sedan w/Nav System (3.2L 6cyl 5A)
Review
Six months later I still love this car. For a 3.2 the car has ample power and maneuvering is perfect. Turning radius and steering are very good. The navigation in this vehicle is the best I've seen on the market. Entering new addresses needs to be made easier, but it is not a big deal. The interior is laid out perfectly and I really like the blue backlit dash. The seats are firm but comfortable. Mechanically the car is perfect. You can tell the Acura is a quality build. I switched to Acura from two prevous Nissan Maxima's. Qualitywise the Acura is far better than the Nissan. I believe the Acura is in need of a few new features which I have outlined below.
Favorite Features
Handles very well. I like everything about the steering on both straight and winding roads. The navigation is the best I've seen and I really like the touch screen. This car is packed with some very usable and enjoyable technology. Lots of power for a 3.2.
Suggested Improvements
Wishlist: Needs automatic on/off headlights. This model should have a more spacious backseat and trunk. I would like to see a more plush leather seating option. Add Sirius radio as an option. The trip computer should be integrated in the nav and display decimal points for mileage and mpg.

Love my TL!!!!
Vehicle
2006 Acura TL 4dr Sedan (3.2L 6cyl 5A)
Review
I was looking for a nice plush car. I test drove a 07 Camry, 06 TL and 06 Accord. The TL won me over due to appearances. At first I had some trouble with rattling in glovebox, but it turned out to be two loose screws, probably from the dealership when they installed music link for iPod.
Favorite Features
Bluetooth phone, iPod music link, moonroof, trunk access from the back seat, heated seats, stereo is great.
Suggested Improvements
The bluetooth phone is a little hard to operate with the front defogger on, has trouble making out numbers, AWD would be nice, better fuel economy, side or mirror blinkers.

2006 Acura TL 4dr Sedan w/Nav System (3.2L 6cyl 5A)
Review
I looked at the Lexus IS 250, Infiniti G35x and then there was the TL... better power and styling at the lowest price out of the three.
Favorite Features
Power for the $$$, fun to drive, navigation is easy to use, bluetooth and voice command options are fantastic
Suggested Improvements
Reduction of road noise, all wheel drive - the car does terrible in the snow even though it is a front wheel drive (this has been confirmed by other TL owners in the area), rear back up camera, mp3 player/system

Great car

2006 Acura TL 4dr Sedan (3.2L 6cyl 5A)
Review
This is the second Acura I drive. First one was a small Acura 1.6 TL sold only in Canada. I am impressed with the quality of this Acura TL and the features it has for this price compared with other models. The car is a blast to drive and the quality of interior is excellent. It looks very nice from exterior. I found the sound from the audio system great and I can barely wait to purchase and try the first DVD-audio. I played only regular CDs so far. I found both manual/automatic shift as a plus and handy for people in love with manual transmission. I don't have too many complaints so far. I drove this car for less than a month only.
Favorite Features
Engine power and total lack of noise inside cabin.
Suggested Improvements
Voice activated commands in base model w/o navigation package.

Review
Great electronics for hands-free operation and control of vehicle. 29 MPG on trip. 22 MPG in city. Engine is a beauty. Nice tradeoff between performance and economy.
Favorite Features
Bluetooth and hands-free operation. Dash layout is efficient and attractive.
Suggested Improvements
Front seat comfort could be improved. Road noise is apparent inside vehicle thus compromising the excellent audio system.

Traded an 03 TSX for a Toyota Avalon since I needed a bigger car for my growing family. Huge mistake. Should have got the TL like I originally planned. Got my TL yesterday and it is everything I liked about the TSX only better. Tight handling, great interior, plenty of power.
Favorite Features
Dashboard layout, nav is easy to use, XM radio, great style inside and out, supportive seats.
Suggested Improvements
None I can think of.

I'm a hard to satisfy middle-aged male who grew up with performance cars of the 60s and 70s. Although so much more refined than my '70 Cougar (350 HP), 70 Nova SS (375 HP) and others, the TL gives me a little taste of what I used to know and love but with so much more refinement and luxury. The sounds of the V6 in the higher revs is really terrific. It sounds and pulls like a mid-size V8. I own very high-end home audio equipment & am quite satisfied with many quality DVD-A recordings on the factory system. The sound is far better than average. With well-mixed discs as source material, you'll appreciate the 5.1 surround sound.
Favorite Features
Fit and finish, smooth powerful drivetrain, quiet cab, impressive DTS sound, comfortable seating and creature comforts. A very handsome car that looks good in daylight and dusk. You'll find yourself looking back at the car when you park it.
Suggested Improvements
AWD, RWD, 50 lbs more torque, turn signal mirrors. Nothing too serious as you can see. I love my TL.

A very nice car
Vehicle
2006 Acura TL 4dr Sedan w/Nav System (3.2L 6cyl 5A)
Review
I bought the car for the sole reason I wanted a car that was reliable & would last me a long time since I'm the type to buy a car and drive it into the ground rather than lease it. I wanted something low maintenace and affordable. I did a lot of reseach into comparable makes such as the Infiniti G35, Volvo S60 and Lexus ES, and none could match the price for what you get with the TL. I didn't have to deal with option packages, everything I wanted was included standard for one low-price and it was under a brand that was known for reliability. It's both sporty enough where you can go cruising on a weekend yet, practical enough where you can run your daily errands, albeit in a bit more style.
Favorite Features
Beautiful styling both inside and out. I really like the look of the low profile tires. It's also very comfortable, you could just spend hours sitting in it whether you're actually driving it or not. It's tame enough for city driving yet, robust enough with 258 horses when needed on the freeway!
Suggested Improvements
The turning radius could be smaller, I'm not used to making so many 3-point turns. While backing-up the view out the rear window could be larger. However, these are just small annoyances that are easy to adjust to. No major flaws that I've come across.
