  • Brief (for me) Update

I have now reached 15,000 miles on my 2012 Acura TL Advance SH-AWD. I have had two oil changes and at the second change the SH-AWD "fluid" was changed (very expensive.) The tires have been rotated twice. I keep the tires cold inflated to: front 37, rear 35. I decided to stick with the somewhat crappy OEM tires that came with the car, since they are all-season UHP's and I wanted ... Read More

Hello, I am in the midst of purchasing a used vehicle. I really like the G35's (specifically the 2007 redesign models) and TL's. I would love to hear some input, views, advice that you guys may have on the two cars. I have been looking in the 2005 to 2007 era, mainly because of financial reason and reliability of those years for these cars. If I'm a bit vague, please feel ... Read More

That for the feedback, I went and checked my owner's manual and it said if you drive in really hot temperatures to replace the timing belt every 60,000 miles. I live in Phoenix, AZ so that must be what the dealership is going off of.

look in the owners manual. If you still have one with service intervals, otherwise might have to check the internet. the first change is called for at ~100K (maybe 105?) or 7 years. So you were well under that at 60K. But, they may have a shorter interval for subsequent changes. But I doubt if it was me that I would replace it again that soon. As to mounts, the ones ... Probably the best deal you can get is on a pre-owned Certified Acura TL. You get an addtional year of warranty , you are not getting a car that has been in a wreck, and the interest rate on the loan is low. BMW and TL are such different cars, mainly because the BMW is rear wheel drive and I suppose more "prestigious" to drive.
