And the navigation system hasn't changed in 5 years... terrible resolution and no touch screen. Not to nitpick, but did you have a few too many before you sat in the TL. I have a 2004 TL and the Nav system is both voice activated and touch screen. Anyone that works at an Acura store, like myself, will admit that there were a few 2004 TL's that weren't up to snuff. I guess you can chalk it up to being the first year of a complete makeover. Edmunds.com gives the 2008 TL the nod for lowest cost of ownership for a car under $45,000, which, I think, says a lot. No car is perfect though. That's why we enjoy buying new ones! Read More...

My stop light in the back window, only half lights up and it is kinda dim. I took the light out and put a battery across it and it was very bright and all of the LED's worked. So I measure the voltage on the connector in the car and it only read 7.8 Vdc on the connector with no light hooked up. I checked the ground and that was also OK. Acura has made a giant mistake with the design of the front grill, a mistake of Edsel proportions. My prediction: this will be a watermark car for Acura, and not in a good way. I finally figured it out: the front end of the 2009 TL looks like a jack-o-lantern with the curving mouth under the fat lip "power plenum" grill. The spy photos I have seen of the rear are also a ... Thanks for posting those pictures. What have Acura done with that big, flashy, ugly chrome beak of a front grill? Isn't that the ugliest, "look at me" monstrosity you've ever seen on a car? I meant to type "compressor" fuse, not "condenser" fuse. In any event, since you checked all your fuses, that exhausts the ideas I have. I had a compressor fuse blow on one of my earlier Acura's by accidentally cycling on and off the AC a bit too fast, multiple times . It resulted in simptoms similar to what you described. Thanks for the info. I checked all the fuses in the under the hood box and under the dash, is there somewhere else it could be or an area where it could be the relay? I just also noticed that the Subwoofer doesn't work and when I try to turn it on via the NAVI, it stays in the "off" position. Any additional help will be most appreciated. Thanks. Read More...
