Re: Acura TL 2009 with Parchment interior (on Grigio Metallic) [Chasboy]
I have had the Parchment in my 1999 Mazda Millennia and my 2003 TLS with zero problems.I am not knocking the Taupe but there is a Demo on the Dealers Lot for sale right now and it looks pretty beat up.I have two small children and I let them know that there is no eating in Daddy's car. Read More...

Re: Need advice. [dash5]
Someone I know told me last week she picked up a 2006 Acura TL with only 12k miles on it for $22k. Nice deal and nice car. I had a 2003 CLS and now have a 2007 TLS. My TL has an iPod input jack in the center console, not sure if an older model would. Both my TL and CL were fine in light to moderate snow as opposed to the 2 BMW 328Ci's I had. They needed separate winter tires to get ... Read More...

Re: 2003 Acura TL tranmission and brakes[hardtop1959]
Hardtop....just to let you know I too experienced the transmission replacement in my 03' Acura TL with 60K miles and a VIN outside of the recall from the lawsuit www.hondatransmissionsettlement.com . I called the dealer and discussed that my car had the 02' transmission and should be included under an extended warranty and they should stand behind their product. ... Read More...

Re: 2009 Acura TL vs Hyundai Genesis [hpmctorque]
How has your overall experience been with the 300M? In '99 my wife and I debated between a 300M and a TL, and decided on the TL. We've never regretted our decision, but the 300M had some attributes over the TL, such as interior roominess and a large trunk. I rented a 300M once, and it drove well. Well, it has been a 10 year love/hate relationship with the 300M. On the love ... Read More...
Re: No 2003 TL for me [rem1997]
Yeah, you're right, the Vigor's back seat was indeed cramped. I really liked the styling and stance of that car, though, and the five cylinder engine was excellent. Circling back to the very low mileage RL you're considering, be prepared to change the fluids, belts and hoses if the haven't been replaced according to the schedule in the owner's manual (not the ... Re: No 2003 TL for me [hpmctorque]
Thanks! The only reason I traded my Vigor in was because after I had my son I realized just how small the backseat was. His infant seat literally touched the back of my drivers seat, and I'm only 5'1". As long as Acuras continue to be good to me, I will be a lifelong customer! Read More...
Re: No 2003 TL for me [hpmctorque]
My mistake, the Acura I am looking at is indeed a 3.5 RL. You provided a lot of good background information about Acura's and now I see why I am drawn to the TL model...it reminds me of my Vigor I loved so dearly! :) The car was owned by an elderly lady who just passed away and her family traded her car in to purchase an Audi....silly them :) Someone had put a deposit on the ... Re: No 2003 TL for me [rem1997]
Thanks for the update, rem. Now, regarding the low mileage 1997 Acura you mentioned, there's no such thing as a 2.5 RL. Acura made a 2.5 five cylinder TL and a 3.2 V6 TL, and a 3.5 RL, but the model designation you mentioned doesn't exist. The good news is that the three models mentioned above are solid cars but, obviously, old. The 2.5 TL was the successor to the 2.5 ... Read More...
