2003 Acura TL 3.2 Type-S 4dr Sedan (3.2L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Just purchased my 2003 TLS last week. After owning Acura's in the past, I knew about the quality and dependability, but had no idea of the value of the TLS. This car flat out performs. It has great power, comfort and features. The back seat is roomy enough for my 3 children or 2 adults to fit comfortably. The engine has power to spare and the features rival any entry level luxary sedan on the market.

Favorite Features

Driver seat memory, optional 5 speed manual transmission, sunroof, powerful engine.

Suggested Improvements

Auto up/down feature for passenger side window, better speakers for stereo, day time running lamps.

2003 Acura TL 3.2 4dr Sedan (3.2L 6cyl 5A)

Review

If you're after sport sedan, drop Acura from you list in favor of BMW 3, Saab 9- 3, Infiniti G35, Mercedes C. It's too heavy and big. Nose dive in turns, lousy brakes, slow acceleration, awkward ride and stability in curves does not appeal to enthusiatic driver. Otherwise, this is great family/businessman car, just a bit outdated as compared to competition.

Favorite Features

Instrument cluster, front sits comfort, great driving position, quiet engine, shoulder room, smooth trasmission, fit and finish close to Mercedes

Suggested Improvements

Ride quality is horrible, car counts all imperfections on the road. Road and tire noise are evident. Not too many modern gizmos as compared to newer cars. Slow acceleration between 90-120 kmh. Body ridigity is not the best I saw. More leg room for driver required.

Suggested Improvements

real wood and manual drive from the first 1 gear.

Review

This car has a disappointing amount of squeaks and rattles. The brake system is one of a toy car. I thought because it was an Acura that it would be a better car then a plain old Honda. Boy was I ever wrong. I know a few people that own both of these cars the TL and the Accord. TL drivers share their horror stories while Accord drivers worship their cars.

Favorite Features

Engine Power.

Suggested Improvements

I'll be nice. Braking system and suspension.
