We have a 2003 Acura RSX and a 2004 Mini Cooper. I am looking to get rid of the Acura and get a WRX wagon. The handling of the Mini is unbelievable. If you don't need to haul a lot of people or gear, the Cooper S (especially with the Works package) is tough to beat. Ours has been very reliable so far, but only time will tell. I just bought a 2005 Acura RSX Type-S, Vivid Blue Metallic for 23,100, before tax and plates. You might be able to get a few more hundred off, but I felt it was a fair price being it is a 2005 model purchased in September 2004. It is a fun car to drive. I recommend it. Good luck. Wendy, congrats on your 2005 RSX-S. Keep us updated on how it's treating you (and vice versa, LOL). Nippon, I also agree w/ you that the RSX seats are very comfortable and keep you in place nicely. Now you got me drooling if the RSX ever produced 250 or 260 HP stock. :) Slight correction: The Acura 3.2 TL Type-S never had a M/T option. It was always A/T (sport shift). It's only the new (2004) TL that introduced a manny tranny in that sedan. Read More...

I agree that the extra 10 HP that the 2005 RSX-S will have will not be that noticeable since: a.) you need to rev higher (max HP is now at 7800 RPM vs. 7400 RPM that the 2002-2004 RSX-S have) and b.) the 2005 RSX-S weighs about 70-80 lbs. more than the 2002-2004 model. I'm not really digging the triple circles that Acura uses for the new RSX's headlights and taillights. ... Read More...
