2003 Acura RSX Type-S Type-S 2dr Hatchback (2.0L 4cyl 6M)

Review

I purchased my RSX in February of 2002
and I've enjoyed it ever since. Love
the ride; however they could have put
better tires on it. This car radio
system should have more watts. I like
how the controls cater to the driver.
I love this car, but I'm planning to
buy the '04 TL!

Best Features

Horsepower, Base box between spare, 6 disc in dash changer, short throw shifter.

Worst Features

More watts in radio, heated seats and mirrors, last but not least better tires.

2003 Acura RSX Type-S Type-S 2dr Hatchback (2.0L 4cyl 6M)

Review

I have 7500 miles on my RSX-S. Love
it! Two things that set it aside:
First, once you start adding options
to match the "Type-S" package, all of
the competitors (except Tiburon) end
up costing more. Second, it's more
more upright, more refined, less "boy
racer". It's not v-8 fast, but I have
skunked Pontiac supercharged v-6's
before. This is THE best deal-for-the-
dollar in its bracket.

Best Features

Excellent engine! Drive it gently, you get great mileage and a smooth ride. Thrash it and it'll hang in there as long as you do. Lotsa trunk space for its size, HUGE glove compartment, great road holding.

Worst Features

Offer regular (solid) leather seats as an option. Add more support to the seat front. The sound system, especially the 'spare-mounted' bass speaker, is NOT up to standard. Move the bass somewhere useful. Better soundproofing: at speed, this thing is LOUD.

2003 Acura RSX Type-S Type-S 2dr Hatchback (2.0L 4cyl 6M)

Review

Awesome car! Obviously its an Acura.
Only complaints would be the tires, but
i already had 18's ready for it before i
bought it!!!!

Best Features

HP, Stereo, Engine sound, Aftermarket performance parts, Leather

Worst Features

Type S should come with 30 more lbs of torque. The tires suck too, but i took care of that.

2003 Acura RSX Type-S Type-S 2dr Hatchback (2.0L 4cyl 6M)

Review

I would absolutly recommend the RSX
Type-S to anyone looking for a sporty
coupe. In fact, the only thing I
dislike about the car is the lack of
interior storage space (ex. there is no
center counsel) Fun to drive, fast,
and very good on gas. I love it.

Best Features

The dashboard is very driver friendly and has an impressive look and feel. The 6 speed tranny shifts smoother than most cars I've driven. Lastly, Acura is a great company, which will take care of you when you purchase from them.

Worst Features

More interior storage space. Could handle a tad bit better for how good of a car it is. More bass for the subwoofer.
