Acura RL Prices Paid and Buying Experience
They make a few. [inspectoring]
And unfortunately, that's pretty much the case: nobody is buying the RL anymore. It's a terrific car, but several things brought it down: •People with nearly $50k to spend wanted a bigger car, a bigger name, rear wheel drive, and a V8. The RL has none of these. It was designed in Japan for Japanese executive buyers' wants, and didn't fit American tastes as well as ... Read More...
Re: 2009 RL lease [10sfan]
Hey 10sfan. Yes, Acura is currently providing $2,000 dealer cash on the 2010 RL. This cash is compatible with this car's lease program. If you were to lease a base 2010 Acura RL through Honda Finance right now for 36 months with 15,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value would be .00200 and 49%, respectively for consumers who qualify ... Re: 2009 RL lease [markinfrisco]
Hi Mark. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a base 2009 Acura RL with 15,000 miles per year are .00200 and 44%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top aka "Super Preferred" credit tier. When negotiating your lease on this car, make sure to take advantage of the $3,000 dealer cash incentive that ... Read More...
Re: 2007 Acura RL [vavavavolvo]
"Your statement that the 5 gets "five stars or a good rating in most other categories in other tests" is simply not correct." I actually take the time to READ the words in these posts and read the NHTSA ratings. Words have meaning and can be verified. My statement that the 5 Series gets 5 stars or a "good" rating in MOST of the other categories is factual. The NHTSA gave ... Read More...
Just finalized my deal on a 2009 RL....
I feel like I got a really good deal yesterday. I was coming out of a lease on a 2005 RL at $699 per month. It was a 4 year lease with a residual of $23,900 and change. In the 4 years that I had the car, I put on 68,300 miles. After doing enough research, I decided that the residual was too high for a 4 year old car with almost 70k miles on it. I was seeing the same car for 23k with ... Read More...

Hi Car Man... I'm interested in a base model 2009 RL. What should I know about Acura's lease program on this car right now? i.e money factor, residual, incentives, etc. Read More...
Re: 2009 Acura RL CM XM Radio Problem [RussHC]
Wow...so they replaced the first bad controller with another bad controller? No wonder it took so long to figure out. One must wonder whether they screwed up and put a bad one back in circulation through an inept checkout procedure. Or maybe there was a batch of bad ones and you got two! Glad you got straightened out and :) are enjoying the car. Read More...
Re: 2009 Acura RL CM XM Radio Problem [RussHC]
Well, after the fifth visit and 25 days in the shop the XM is working beautifully. It was apparently two bad controllers. Bottom line, I love this car! The AWD is awesome. The cornering is flat without the loss of a quiet and smooth ride. I wasn't that impressed when I bought it. (I bought it for the 5 star rating, collision mitigation, etc.) But now, I won't buy anything ... Read More...
Re: [desert_rat]
I purchased an 2009 Acura RL two month ago. I'm curious as to what kind of deal you got. Last I checked Acura was selling around 300 RLs a month, which works out to a little more than 1 per dealer. I'm sure they are giving them away now. Read More...

I purchased an 2009 Acura RL two month ago. The car looks small from the outside, but I feel it is very roomy inside. It's true that there isn't much room on the backseat if the front seats are moved all the way to the back, but on the other hand they move much more to the back than many other car seats. The car drives great. Enough power, we don't drive 160MPH in this country. ... Read More...
