I am getting semi serious about a used Acura RL in the 2005 - 2008 range. 2005s certified are now being priced mid to high 20s which is attractive. There seem to be a lot coming off lease now. I do not see as many 2006, 2007 or 2008s. Any sense which is the best year? Will the bulk of used 2006s be available in a year? And used 2007s are year after that? Should I concerned about ... I do not have any paint peeling, but the tailpipe extensions were redesigned in 2006 and our dealer replaced them with the new ones on our 2005 RL at no charge approximately 2 years ago. The new extensions go out a little bit further, and do not cause the same soot buildup that we originally experienced on our white RL. If I were you, I would go back to your dealer and ... I have the 2006 RL it is no way Honda could make the 08 Accord drive like the RL the RL got awd and if it does I will be the 1st to tell Acura Honda to Ki** my a** and I have a 2007 MDX I will never buy from Acura again..I paid $39.500 for my RL back in Nov of last year and I see the Accord v6 is around $30,000 I still will be mad at Acura.. 2006 rl just had the same problem car speeding up. Left car running got out opened garage door put the car in drive and likely my brake was on and my foot was on the brake pedal car started speeding up. Any one elese had this problem/solution. Hope this was a one time problem. Read More...

yep, I use my 2006 RL to haul my kids, 10 & 3, around the town (car seat included). My older one just loves riding in RL, as he can enjoy all bells & whistles of the NAV technology - maps, traffic reports, current location with latitude & longitude etc. Read More...

In a New York minute. The RL should actually be known as the 4th generation Acura Legend--it's called the Honda Legend in Japan and most of the world. It would sell a lot better with the proper moniker. I bought a 2006 RL Tech (CMBS/PAX) in December 2006 for $11,500 off list price. I traded up from a US-built 2004 TL which was sweet but squeaky, not to mention a little ... Read More...

When I went to a dealership towards the end of 2006, they had 4 2006 RLs which all had a discount of $9000!, yes, that's 9 thousand dollars! My question is, is this a common clearance price? They told me they need to make room for the 07s and these $50K 06 RLs need to go and nothing is wrong with them. Would anyone with experience tell me if I should also wait til the end of ...
