Totally different type of cars, ride, handling, mileage, etc. RL is a luxury car and the Accord is sportier. The RL will definitely cost more in repairs as I have had experience with both. The powertrain warranty is for 6 years and 70,000 miles so it still is in effect. I say buy the used Acura and save the $9,000 bucks for the repairs that likely will never come. Read More...

My suggestion--get regular tires--you'll save quite a bit...however, the problem--same as before--NO SPARE...(:--(( I will NEVER again buy a run flat tire system in my life--more because of lack of a spare than the higher price--I always picture myself out in the middle of nowhere--with--a flat tire and no spare. I have a 2005 Acura RL which I am planning to ship to Europe for a few months I am told that the navigation system will not work even if you put the European maps dics in it. That's weird because I know Europe uses the same GPS system and ACura RL exists in Europe under Honda Legend badge and it is an identical car . I went to a dealership to look at some low-mileage Honda Accords. While there I couldn't help noticing a 2005 Acura RL with 86,000 miles for $15,995. What do you guys think? Is this a good price? Although I current vehicle is a 1992 Civic with 230,000 miles on it, I'm pretty wary of spending that much money on a car with that many miles on it. How reliable has the RL been ... Read More...
