Thanks for your reply and information. I only see the lease promotion on the RDX base model, I don't really know where to come up with the actual price that Acura is using on an AWD Tech package to calculate the lease payment you quoted me. Where did you get the national program numbers for that lease, if you don't mind. Also, is that the best price I can assume to ... Read More
I am looking for help to negotiate a lease for a 2014 RDX w/tech AWD. I see the advertised Acura lease promo for the base RDX no money down that Acura is offering. It seems these are based on full MSRP price. Do I first negotiate a purchase price and then negotiate the lease? I am used to buying and getting a good price, but the lease is new to me? ... I got a quote while back for a 2013 acura rdx base awd OTD for $36,500 with 8% NY tax rates, but waited, and looking forward to purchasing one this year instead, preferably in december
I gave you guys a heads up this might happen. It ended up working out tonight. Just left Tischer Acura with a new 2014 Acura RDX AWD Tech in Silver Moon Ebony. In late November of 2012, I had left the same dealership and same sales person with a 2013 new Acura RDX 2014 in Silver Moon Ebony. Here are my final numbers: Selling Price $37,500 Dealer Processing Charge = $200 ... Read More
Are those leftover 2013 Acura RDX AWD Tech brand new with just a few miles? Or do they have a lot of miles on it or were Demos or something? If they were brand new, I would definitely try to get that because I think there is no difference between the 2013 and the 2014. Maybe I would offer $32,000 for it? We were just at the Acura Dealer last night. ... Read More
Hey, buying a 2014 RDX FWD base model with fog lamps installed. Best I've got so far is around $32,700 base price including fog lamps installed. Is that a good price? Thanks!
It seems kinda high. This guy in Brooklyn NY listed for only $399 plus tax. no money down. I am sure you can negotiate with the prices. http://www.legendleasing.com/2014_Acura_RDX_AWD
Hi guys, I am in the market to buy a new car. Currently, I have narrowed it down to two cars: 1. 2014 Acura RDX AWD W/Tech (MSRP $40515) 2. 2013 Lexus RX 350 AWD with these packages: Lexus Display/Audio, Comfort package, Premium package W/Blind Spot plus some minor accessories. (MSRP $48000) There is about a $7.5K price difference between the two cars but I want to see how much of ... Read More
Since 2011, I have purchased three Acura vehicles in the DC area. I found Rosenthal, Norris, Pohanka, and Radley offer the best purchase experience. During my purchases those dealers were consistent in offering the lowest prices in the area. I purchased from Norris and Rosenthal due to the lower doc fees in Maryland compared to Virginia. However, the doc fees were considered in the price I paid. They were not added ... Read More
Hi, Over the Laborday weekend bought an Acura RDX Awd with tech (Kona Coffee) from Pleasanton Acura. The vehicle price was 36,690 and the dealer threw in a few oil changes. Got a costco quote and the dealer matched it. Landed the 0.9% APR for 36 months. Good luck to other buyers
I have negotiated what I think is a good deal with several accessories, but was wondering if I had any leverage on the money factor. I now realize I can't play hardball on the MF, so this gives me my direction. Thanks so much for your help!
Your dealer may be able to offer a better lease than the nationally advertised example.. that really isn't all that hard to do.. they just have to sell it for less money than assumed in the example.. But, they can't offer a lower money factor on that lease. (of course, in your example, they didn't say that..)
Thanks so much! My dealer claims they can better the lease deal from Acura. This is my first lease, is it common practice to negotiate a better money factor offered from the dealer? If so, what is reasonable from your experience if we use the Acura deal of .0014 as a baseline?
Yep got it, thanks. I was trying to verify what the dealer told me that the current Acura money factor is correct and it appears it is (.0014 / 3.36 APR). I think I can do better, seems high to me...
.0014, if you use the special "ZERO due at signing program"
lghoover, You are missing two items: 1. Sales price (aka capitalized cost) 2. Residual value You need that information as well as the MSRP and money factor in order to calculate the monthly payment. FitzRam
I cannot find the money factor on the current lease offer from Acura for the RDX AWD with Tech that expires on 9/3/2013. Anyone know it? When I run the calc on the Acura website it shows a 685.85 a month for lease amount of 40,515, 12k mi, and 36 mths. $750 rebate is nothing, and I'm sure that is for the 2013 since the 2014 are rolling into the dealers. Now if the rebate was $1500 or $2000 then you have a reason to be snippy.
The 2014's have already hit the lots. Anyone dumb enough to buy last years model for the same price as '14 really needs to read these posts and disregard what the salespeople who post here spew. The RDX is selling well enough that dealers do not have to discount them, so if people want a RDX then they have to either chase quotes all day or settle on a "good" price. ... Read More

That's what I'm hearing, too. The dealers are so far saying that since the 2014s are essentially identical to the 2013s, there will be no "fire-sales" to get rid of them. They say they can work the price to near (slightly below) invoice on the 2013s, and offer the 0.9 percent financing on the 2013s, but they won't budge much off MSRP on the 2014s anytime soon (which is also $200 ... The first 2014 RDX have now been delivered to dealers in the Chicago suburbs - just came in yesterday at 2 dealers I checked (Morton Grove and Arlington Heights, IL) So far they aren't offering any big breaks on their 2013s in stock, maybe the deals are coming.
Of course it makes sense; it's the last couple weeks before the 2014 RDX hits the showroom floor. Naturally they want to get rid of them.
Just heard from an Acura dealer at another site that the 2014s are scheduled for production the first week of April for May delivery at about the same time as the new MDX hits the street. 2014s will probably not come out until September timeframe. So any markdowns so to speak on the 2013 models won't happen until probably August. Then again, if the RDX stays hot and the 2014 doesn't have many improvements, the release of the 2014 won't affect pricing on the 2013 all that much. Usually not too much changes the second year of a model at Honda/Acura and the third year is when ... Read More
