92 NSX, truly remarkable exotic
Vehicle
1992 Acura NSX 2 Dr STD Coupe
Review
Design & production of the NSX is truly remarkable. Probably one of the most thought out designs of any exotic sports car ever built. The NSX was hand-built, making it a rare & special high performance car. An all aluminum/magnesium body coupled with 270 hp produces a potent pound/hp ratio. The NSX had the 1st VTEC engine in a mass produced car. Handling is excellent. Interior & exterior design is like nothing else. I don't plan on changing any features, performance nor visual.
Favorite Features
Exterior design, especially front hood seen from the drivers seat. You see 2 bulges over the front wheels. Outside mirrors, pop-up headlights, rear hatch, airflow ductwork though doors, center console, driving position and outward vision.
Suggested Improvements
More torque & better air seal around door edges. Previous owner neglected car, maybe if pampered, air seal may have held up over time?

I have owned this car for one year this month. I have driven the car in all weather conditions except for snow, which I plan to do this winter. The car is great in any condition of driving and gets attention everywhere. It could use a little more power especially when shifting to the next gear up. There are plenty of aftermarket items available to remedy this small setback. My car has 68,000 miles on it and still looks brand new with the exception of a few rock chips and slight wear on the drivers seat and it is needing rear tires. I got about 7,000 miles out of them.
Favorite Features
Attention getter, super dependable, 25 miles to the gallon, timeless good looks, only 8,000 were sold in the u.s. from 1991 to 2005 so you will probably never pass another one, which makes this a rare exotic without the cost. It's a Honda, reliable, easy to work on and all aluminum, no rusting.
Suggested Improvements
More power, usually intake exhaust and headers work well, stock wheels are plain, upgrade to 18s or 19s. Aftermarket brakes are nice too, although the car is about perfect right off the showroom.

All I have to say is that the NSX is a Japanese Ferrari (except with better handling). If you're okay with not having the "prestige" of owning a European sports car, then this is the car. As far as I'm concerned, it beats the pants off comparable Porsches, Ferraris, Lotus (junk), etc. Highly recommended!

Stock rims are ugly (although that's easy to fix).

This car is as perfect a sports car get. Handling is superior to all other sports cars in the 30-60k range. Only downfall is the small trunk space
