I love Edmunds for prices paid discussion. I have bought several cars after gaining info here including my wife's 2006 MDX. It's now time for a new one. It would be helpful for me (and others) if you could post how much below MSRP all of you are buying for. It's the easiest way for buyers to see trends by looking at approximate percentages off MSRP. Plus, people should mention if ... Read More

Found a brand new black on black 2013 Acura MDX base. How much should I be paying for the car? I am thinking to go in and start @ $35k out the door (including registration, IL sales tax, and plates). What you guys all think?
Fantastic design and build quality. However, there is a very severe problem when trying to merge and having to accelerate quickly. The car stalls and acts like you are using the brakes for a few critical and sometimes fearful seconds before it "kicks in" and starts to accelerate as it should. I brought it back to the dealer who checked it out and said that it was working fine and that ... Read More
$35k is not doing to happen. A dealer will work with you, but doesn't need to lose multiple thousands to do it. Consider that net invoice on the car after incentive is around $38700 with destination, and be reasonable from there. $35k...not unless used and with some miles. Acura's do not drop values like that. Heck of a deal to find a new 2013, regardless, with as much as you can ... Read More

I live in San Diego downtown and my target price for 2013 MDX Base is $36,000 (including destination fee). Is this a realistic expectation? My basis for this expectation is from some of the previous posts that said $39,000 is a realistic price for 2013 MDX with Tech package. Given current inventory and the fact you are looking at $5-6k off a current model MDX (that is abnormal for Acura in general), now is the time for a deal. Any longer, and there will not be any 2013 inventory but pricey 2014's.

Real world or online? Someone mentioned trying to track down a '12 model after seeing them online, but found most were just incorrect listings or demo units.
