    There is no set special rate financing from Acura Financial on Certified MDX models. The only current special rate offered on used vehicles is for Certified TL's at 1.9-2.9%.     My son is negotiating for a CPO 2009 MDX. Does anyone know what the American Honda Finance rate is for this car for 48 or 60 months. I know that Mercedes is offering 1.9%/48months on the M series and I'm wondering if Acura is competing. The Acura dealer is offering 4.9% and that sounds high.

    Take it back to the service department and ask them to look at the torque converter. My 2010 had the same issues as I stated above in my previous email.     I bought a 2009 MDX with Tech package in November of 2009. I bought the 6 yr. 120K extended warranty and it cost $1,650 from Acura of Brookfield in Brookfield, WI. Just an FYI to all.

    My Acura dealership did this TSB: SB09-038 Thudding or drumming noise in rear over rough roads...applies to 2007/ 2008 /some 2009 MDX w/o Active Suspension (adj. dampers), involves replacing rear dampers(shocks). It didn't work though. If anything, it made it worse. A second dealership looked at it and said the booming thuds coming from the back where normal. So I just gave up and traded it in.

    Noticed this same problem on my 07 MDX with 35K miles on it. Only happens when I go over speed bumps. It always corresponds with a lack of power. I noticed last night when it did it, the VSA light flashed.

    Went to my local Acura dealer today. They had 3, 2010 MDX in and only one is left. Gave me the following numbers TECH/ ENT 36 months/12K minimal down $835/month with tax MF .00162 res 54% based on a price of $48,615, barely $500 below the MSRP. no comparison to the 2009 leases. For me, waiting a few months will make the most sense.

    No, I don't think you can get $34-$34.5 for the base anymore. Even Pohanka is VA is over that now. Probably closer to $35K (incl dest and and dealer "fees") would be a great deal at this point.

    That will depend on what your tax/tags/fees are. A good price right now (IMO) for a MDX including destination is 34 - 34.5k. Calculate tax from that and add whatever the fees are for tags/title.

    I would hold firm ground...you should be able to do better than 36.2k. The last day of the month is Monday, and this is a long holiday weekend where people are shopping for everything except for cars. I would imagine all dealers will have special incentives for this weekend, and that you'll be getting calls back on Friday - Saturday to make a deal.

    The local Acura dealer here installs a rear view mirror camera on base models for ~$700. Not sure which one it is, but I do kind of like the option of having it backed by the Acura dealership.
