I bought my 05 and traded my 05 for an 08 - all at Lindsay Acura in Columbus Ohio. Call and ask for Brook. I got an 08 with the tech pkg and paid 36250 for the new one and they gave me 15000 for the 05 touring with 54k miles. On the new one, I did have them put on the sport side steps and the all weather mats and ... Read More

It's a AcuraCare warranty good at any Acura dealership. I had an 05 mdx and the battery died - the extended warranty included roadside assistance, too. Tim at hondacuraworld.com filled out the paper work for me when I traded my 05 and faxed it to me so I could get my prorated refund. I can't recommend him highly enough. Note that on the warranties, the $0 deductible warranty costs $100 more ... Read More

That seems quite high, you are in SF Bay area so before TTL, it looks like they are offerring an 09 Tech at 41k to get it OTD at 45k? Mid December when I emailed some dealerships about the 08s, Serramonte didn't have any 08s so they countered with an 09 Tech for 39300. I'm sure I could have haggled them down even more and in fact I remember reading someone ... Read More

I absolutely agree with you on Pleasanton Acura! I went to 4 other Acura dealerships prior to them and only 1 stood out for having good service (Oakland) but they didn't have any 08s left. Two of them were very...ummm..."swarmy" is probably the polite way of voicing my concerns about their honesty and sales tactics. I can vouch for Pleasanton's professionalism and integrity, search my other posts ("deal gouged roof") for ... Read More

2008 MDX Tech in SF Bay Area
Written by: enforcer on Jan 16, 2009 11:24:00 PM
We finally bit the bullet and bought an Acura MDX with Tech in mid-December. Paid $36.6 + $1k for options, about $200 above invoice after subtracting $4k incentive. Also got 2.9%/60mos zero down financing. Probably should have tried to shave another $1k based on prices posted here and on real car tips but we were leaving on vacation soon and there were only 3 of the 2008s with Tech remaining on ... Edmunds has a "view inventory" button that was accurate enough to let me know which dealerships had 2008 MDXs though not necessarily the colors/trims (I just emailed/called to find out what they had). http://www.edmunds.com/inventory/srp.html?make=Acura&model=MDX

Incentives are still $4000 but no special APR: http://www.edmunds.com/new/2008/acura/mdx/100933706/incentives.html I got my 08 MDX Tech when it was combined incentive and APR and if you plan on hanging onto your MDX for a number of years then I'd grab one ASAP if there is a decent gap between the 08 and 09 prices for you (when I purchased mine, it was about a $3700 difference). I've been driving an 09 loaner ... Read More

MDX Lease Incentives

With a 44% decline in sales for December 2008 vs December 2007 and with the deepening downturn in the 2009 economy, Acura will hopefully improve them to move their inventory of MDX's as well as their other vehicles which are in a similar decline.

Good Deal

I was looking for an MDX in December 2008. I ended up buying a Certified Used 2008 Base MDX. It had 10,000 on it and looked like it had never been driven. Perfect condition. I negotiated the price down to $29K plus TTL. I got the 4.9% financing and the bumper to bumper warranty that comes with the Certified Used Acuras. I think some of the best deals you can get ... Got my 08 MDX tech finally!

Whew! I didn't think it was going to happen but it did! Posted here about month ago about getting a deal on an 08 MDX with tech for 35.5k from several SF Bay Area dealers but couldn't get them to give me what I thought was fair trade in value for my 2006 Volvo S40 so no go. Try DCH Acura (Montclair, NJ). They seem to be making great deals. I just leased an 2009 Base MDX for $517 /month (3 yr lease w/ 15K mi) with a sale price of $34,569. Ask for Donna Telesco.

Hi, --- I was quoted $36K for 2008 w/Tech (Loaners) approx. 10-15K miles at East Brunswick. --- I also found another dealer who quoted me $37.5K for demos with 5-6K miles from Ocean Acura. --- Bridgewater, Springfield don't have any. I'm willing to drive 100 miles (maybe more) to get a better deal. What do you think of the prices offered? Any other locations that have them? I presume, demos are ... Read More

any idea what differential to expect on a 2008 vs. 2009? I know Acura's dealer incentive difference is $2000 but would expect a bigger differential than that at this time of the year. thanks for feedback.

It might be too late for 2008. Southern California seems to have more stock.. However it seems you need to do more work in trying to find 08's if you are really interested... for example in three min I found that Lehigh Valley Acura in Allentown PA has one 2008 Tech ent listed on the website....Do they have it...not sure but worth the call. Well, I've been looking all over for a 2008 MDX w/ Tech package and did check Weir Acura (which an earlier poster had said was offering for 35.8). They did have it and it was a great deal, but I really didn't like the blue steel color and didn't want to regret it and think about for the next 5-10 years. Brien99, There are a few Acura websites that do show the color combinations of their inventory. A larger percentage show the exterior color only, some show neither. Hi BOBACURA. Auto sales are atrocious right now. If you are in an area that has any sort of competition, I suspect that you will be able to purchase a 2008 MDX for dealer invoice minus the $4,000 dealer cash that is currently available on it. The dealer invoice price for a 2008 Acura MDX with both the Tech and Entertainment packages is $42,460. Subtract $4,000 from that and you have ... Read More
