I bought an acura mdx on 08/14/07 and it was a 2007 w/nav and ent. I found out after I had possession that they slipped me a model made in Sept 2006. It has a window sticker marked "DEMO PROGRAM DO NOT SELL" in big black letters. Also where the crash test ratings are. It says "Not Yet Rated" and all stars are light gray, not dark like current MDX stickers. Besides many problems ... Read More...

:lemon: Well, I hope that you have better luck with Acura. My local dealer in Fort Wayne has tried on 6 separate visits replacing every component in the rear suspension (shocks, sway bar, springs, etc.) and have tried the "lube it" fix suggested by Acura. Tonight, I bought a light silver (taupe interior) 2008 MDX Tech PTG with protection package (splash guard, cargo liner etc.) and complete roof rack (rails, crossbars) for $39500. Hello , I have gotten couple of quotes from dealers about a 2009 mdx + tech package - 38K, which will make it around 42k on the road. I am strongly considering a 2007 CPO also , for some reason all the acura dealers do not have a lot of 2007 MDx'es available , one dealer gave me a quote for 32K for a 2007 + tech package. I think the CPO is way over-priced since the brand new one ... Read More...

My wife and I have been looking at crossover/SUV's for about 3 months.......considered the GM's (Acadia, Outlook), the Mazda CX-9, the Land Rover LR3, and now have been looking hard at the 2007-2008 MDX as a candidate. What type of prices are people seeing in the Seattle/Tacoma area? I haven't been to the dealers yet.....just trying to decide if we should go 2007 ... Read More...

I have a 2001 model MDX and have been less than thrilled with the purchase myself. I bought it used with 80K miles on it and within 2K miles, had to replace the transmission. Acura Corp helped with 1/2 of the cost, which I thought was fair. I was only out $1800. Then the Engine Mounts broke, $900 repair. Then the buttons on the overhead light broke. $300 unit replacement. ... Read More...

I was at Acura dealer last weekend (Southern CA area) to test drive MDX. My salesman mentioned that 1) The incentives are good through June end. 2) The incentives will probably continue beyond June 3) MDX (SUV's) are not selling that well 4) He has had few 2007 MDX's traded in for a TL/RL..if I am interested. I had the same thing on my 2007 as well. They did a couple of things and it is fixed. First, there was service instruction for the dealer to change the bolts holding the rear struts on. Second, they actually replaced the rear struts (I have a Sport). Then they replaced one of my rear mufflers, which had a broken baffle in it. There is a tool they can stick in the rear of ...
