I have a 2007 Acura MDX and my Bluetooth just died too. What is going on? T his needs to be a recall. I am seeing too many posts about the handsfree dying and people having to pay to get it fixed.
HI sergio, my price is not inclusive of taxes. if yours is inclusive of taxes, then I think it is a good price. my price was $638 with taxes, $0 down, and 36m/10k. the internet manager at clinton is the one who gave me the price. At lehigh valley acura, I got the same deal plus I got them to throw in black roof rails as well. But what I figured ... Read More
this is the best rate I think you will get as this is the Acura national program lease rate. i have leased two cars(2007 mdx and 2011 mdx both with tech packages) from Curry Acura in Scarsdale and they are very good at getting things done really fast and are pretty fair, at least with me they were. The Acura dealership in Larchmont is also very reasonable
I purchased a used 2004 Acura MDX in 2007 with 52k. The used car dealer I bought from supposedly added the 2 year 24k WYNN warranty that I was charged for. My transmission went out at 72k. I called Courtesy Acura, where the original owner leased it from, and they informed me there was nothing that could be done because of being outside warranty period and could not help a penney. ... Also. beware of posters here and on other sites defending Acura. There is little doubt that Acura employs others to monitor these sites and has them criticize those who legitimately criticize their products and practices. I don't buy that. Nothing would backfire faster on Acura or any other automaker than to have a shill outed on the net. Acura (and most all the rest) are doing fine responding to customer complaints ... Read More
I share you frustration and anger with Acura. My brother had an 05 MDX and his transmission failed fortunately for him at around 90 k, within the warranty period. Same with his Honda Accord. Many posters have 2 and even 3 failed transmissions with their Acuras. My 2000 TL's transmission slipped nearly every day during the warranty period and Acura did nothing to remedy it. We couldn't take the constant slipping ... Read More
Sadly I had the same thing happen and Acura all the way from the district manager to the California head office refused help. Asking for a split share in the $4500 bill to rebuild was declined. They are so beseiged with failing trannies that they've placed a moratorium on any concession outside of warranty. I even spoke to a sales person about absorbing my MDX with the trade in to a ... It seems not too many vehicles were sold during the financial crisis, so 3 year old off-lease SUVs are not as good a deal as they were a year or so ago. Thanks for the suggestion of filing a compliant with BBB. Do you report the dealer or the Acura USA?! I just filed one against Acura USA since it was their customer service folks who refused to waive the $1,000 to replace our 2004 MDX transmission which was diagnosed by one dealer to be failing. 2nd dealer would NOT recommend a repair at all and that might have something to do with ... The back seat in 2007+ MDX is not that easy to get in or out. Only passenger side second row seat folds down. If there is a need to use third row on regular basis I would not recommend MDX. I would look at Highlander or a Minivan. However you cannot beat the drive of MDX. Great vehicle

Tonight, I bought a light silver (taupe interior) 2008 MDX Tech PTG with protection package (splash guard, cargo liner etc.) and complete roof rack (rails, crossbars) for $39500. Adding the towing package and sports running board raised the cost to $41559. $45729 was the out the door price. I took advantage of the 60mos 2.9% financing. No extended warranty. Yesterday, I visited Acura of Bellevue (Washington state) and they offered a ... Read More
Hello , I have gotten couple of quotes from dealers about a 2009 mdx + tech package - 38K, which will make it around 42k on the road. I am strongly considering a 2007 CPO also , for some reason all the acura dealers do not have a lot of 2007 MDx'es available , one dealer gave me a quote for 32K for a 2007 + tech package. I think the ... Read More
My wife and I have been looking at crossover/SUV's for about 3 months.......considered the GM's (Acadia, Outlook), the Mazda CX-9, the Land Rover LR3, and now have been looking hard at the 2007-2008 MDX as a candidate. What type of prices are people seeing in the Seattle/Tacoma area? I haven't been to the dealers yet.....just trying to decide if we should go 2007 or 2008..........Acura is offering 2.9 on certified used ... Read More
I have a 2001 model MDX and have been less than thrilled with the purchase myself. I bought it used with 80K miles on it and within 2K miles, had to replace the transmission. Acura Corp helped with 1/2 of the cost, which I thought was fair. I was only out $1800. Then the Engine Mounts broke, $900 repair. Then the buttons on the overhead light broke. $300 unit replacement. Now ... Read More
I was at Acura dealer last weekend (Southern CA area) to test drive MDX. My salesman mentioned that 1) The incentives are good through June end. 2) The incentives will probably continue beyond June 3) MDX (SUV's) are not selling that well 4) He has had few 2007 MDX's traded in for a TL/RL..if I am interested. Very good no nonsense salesman. He know what Carsdirect.com and overstock.com is quoting for ... Read More
I had the same thing on my 2007 as well. They did a couple of things and it is fixed. First, there was service instruction for the dealer to change the bolts holding the rear struts on. Second, they actually replaced the rear struts (I have a Sport). Then they replaced one of my rear mufflers, which had a broken baffle in it. There is a tool they can stick in ... Read More
I am a bimmer fan (as you could tell by my sreen name) but not a fanboy. I am also a BMW club member and receive their monthly magazine "Roundel". In April 2007's issue, they did a comparison test X5 (not the V8) vs. MDX (with sports package). The author, whom I assume is a BMW fan since he writes for the magazine, says there is NO reason to justify the ... Read More
