Comfortable and Solid cars

Review

The car feels solid and sporty. It hugs a turn and has good acceleration. Can notice a big difference between it and other cars such as the accord or camry.

Favorite Features

Memory Seats/Steering wheel settings.

Suggested Improvements

95 is starting to have electrical problems.

I have had my Legend for almost 7 years; drove it off of the showroom floor at just 2 years old w/about 18k miles and all I have had to do to it since then is fill it w/gas and the regular maintenance (tires, brakes, 1 tune-up, 1 light bulb), literally. I love, love, love it and it will be hard when it comes time to trade it in, but know it will be for another Acura, the MDX.

Favorite Features

Stereo controls on steering wheels; leather; Bose sound system.

Suggested Improvements

Outside of additional options, can't think of improvements on this car.

Review

I just barely squeaked in my 3rd Legend at the end of the 1995 model year. Although I don't drive a lot, every one of the 39000 miles I have put on this car have been enjoyable. Even after 8 yrs, I still get comments on it where ever I go. The service managers at the Acura dealers want to buy it from me on the spot and they tell me NOT to ever trade it in on anything else,even a new Acura because the Legend is a legend in it's own time and will never be duplicated. I love this car! No problems of any kind, I will never give it up!

Favorite Features

Style, comfort, the way the doors suck themselves closed and the way she hugs the road on mountain drives.

Review

This car has kick, very comfortable, has every feature imaginable, safe, large trunk, and classy. Wish it got better gas milage for the environment, but this is the cost for a powerful car. I got up to 110mph easily, and I felt like I was going 60mph! It's smooth riding, and the Bose sound system is awesome. I have really found my dream car!

Pocket-rockets beware!

Review

To sum this up in one sentance: these cars rule. Once owned a 92 L coupe (which I loved), and after the accident, I went and picked up the 95 LS 6-speed. Even for a heavy Japanese car, it flies with the manual (which makes up for the low end torque). 0- 60mph in 6.3 seconds means you'll have so much fun smoking ricers and giving 5.0s a run for their money. On top of that, styling is immortal, fuel economy in 6th gear is great and tranny stable (even 30mhp cruising!), and reliability is better than the that of brand new cars. They are Legends ....enough said.

Favorite Features

Styling. Performance. Styling. Power features (automatic steering wheel!). Real wood grain. Stereo controls on steering wheel. Lots of leg room (even in the back seats). Dependability. Styling.

Suggested Improvements

More plush leather. Now outdated dashboard look. Less expensive 100k maintanence (replace clutch, flywheel, timing and water pump = ~$2200).

This was my dream car - have put over 100,000 miles on it and still love it. There has been no other car made that has turned my head. I get more comments about this car wherever I go.

Review

I've had excellent service from this car - it now has 130000 miles with only normal service, incl. timing belt. Seem to have transmission overheating problem - no resolution yet. I loved the color - Champagne gold with gold lettering.

Leather upholstery, convenient controls.

Suggested Improvements

Inside of wheel well liners in front all came loose and rubbed on tires until I cut them off. They need to be fastened better to withstand the wear and tear.
