Hi Kirkaja! I've been an Legend owner for ten years and still counting. I'm 31 yrs now and have owned 5 Legends and 1 TL, and have definitely had my share of mechanical problems with the legends. I have a 1994 Acure Legend L and recently the taillight on the passenger side quit working, but it still lights up when I hit the brake. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be or how to fix it? Also, my entire gauge lighting has gone out. Read More...

I am currently looking to replace my wife's old car (1994 Chevy Cavalier - Teal) with a 1995 Acura Legend L. I'm wondering is the dealer giving me a fair deal. It's got all options for an L (leather, keyless, automatic, and cd changer). 54599 miles(??) What is wrong with the prior owners? Pay almost $40,000 for a car and not drive it?????? As mentioned before, I have two Legends, a 1991 with 120K and a 1995 with 50K. I have had the 1991 for nearly eight years, and just bought the 1995. They are really excellent cars, that is why I searched for a 1995 instead of buying new. They just don't make anything that compares in my mind except possibly a $40000BMW but that is too much to pay for a car as far as I am concerned. ... Read More...

I have to admit that I like the older Legends too. Especially the 1989 and 1990 model. They looked better than the 1986-1988 models. The 2nd generation car was no looker, but I'm come to like it too, I once almost bought a 1994 as a 2nd car. They make a great used car now from about 15K, especially the LS models. I kind of wish Acura would drop this silly RL designation ... Read More...
