Question about swapping seats?
Written by: troops on Aug 15, 2006 5:35:51 PM
I have a 2000 acura integra GS. My seats are pretty worn out and I want to replace them. I have found a set of seats but they are for a 2001 integra. My question is if anyone knows if I will be able to swap them out? Thanks

$9,000 is about average deal for this year model with 45,000 mi.. an integra is a great car to own they are fun and reliable also they get good gas mileage. my 94 LS integra calls for mid grade gas and im pretty sure a 2000 GS would be the same. all acuras come with honda engines so they are basically hondas and they should be cheaper on parts and services ... maintainance and fuel
Written by: theman_in_tx on Mar 20, 2005 12:03:21 AM
I'm thinking of buying a 2000 GS sedan with 45000 miles for $9000. Car is in good shape. Is this a good deal? Also I have never owned an Acura before. Does it need premium gas or is regular unleaded gas okay? Are parts and repairs a lot more expensive than they would be for a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry? I'm also thinking about buying a 1999 Infiniti I 30 ... Read More

is on its original head gasket at 243K, so I would not call it something to worry about from personal experience. I assume you have checked the CV joints, and there are no problems - also boots are fresh and intact? Be sure the timing belt was done, or better yet, have them do it now. Valve cover gaskets and distributor o-rings tend to leak - not such a big deal ... Read More

2000 Integra LS
Written by: huxley123 on Jan 28, 2003 9:33:00 AM
I am looking at a 200 Integra LS 2-dr Auto with 27K on it. It is Acura ceritified -- used to be the service loaner for the dealer so they looked after it themselves. Dealer is asking 13,900 for it - but might settle for 13K or even less. Seems to me like a good deal. However, there are certain questions that I have about the Integra LS: 1. The dealer ... Acura Integra oddity
Written by: civic_cx_92 on Aug 3, 2001 11:56:31 AM
As you know Acura has decided to drop the Integra name for RSX. This has created a odd situation for Integra buyers who's deciding to buy new or used: Kelly Blue Book 'Trade-in' value for 2000 Integra LS 5-sp with 12k miles on it in excellent condition for $17,495 http://www.kbb.com/ Edmunds 'True Market Value' (going rate at dealers) for new 2001 Integra LS 5-sp dealers are selling for $16,650. http://www.edmunds.com/new/ Duh? ... Integra Alarm
Written by: texashombre on Feb 7, 2001 6:41:39 AM
I had my Acura dealer install an Alarm/Keyless Entry on my 2000 Integra. I would say it works fine around 95% of the time. But that 5% is a killer especially at grocery store parking lot on a cold windy day, struggling to get into my car. I wind up opening the door with a key, alarm goes off and keeping hitting that unlock button hoping it will deactivate. It takes ... Read More

Integra replacement release date
Written by: crikey on Dec 12, 2000 8:13:46 PM
Not sure if the '03 release date is accurate. The Acura MDX concept was introduced in the NAIAS last January 2000 and was released in the same year. I would not be surprised if they release the Teg replacement sometime late 2001. It could be the start of the way Acura does things.

Thanx again Harry, well a salesman named “Daug” from Springfield Acura, NJ told me that they should be receiving the new Integras in September/2000. That’s why I decided to put money down cause he said if I didn’t there would be a long waiting list. But after you showed me a picture of the new possible 2001 Integra I’ve been thinking about getting my money back. Like I said before and ... Read More

Thanx Harry I got your picture. Too tell you the truth I didn’t noticed any big changes from the picture I saw in the website and the picture you sent me. Bottom line is both pictures looked really, really ugly, ill looking, ill-favored, heinous, terrible, nasty looking and whatever else you want to call it. I would be ashamed to drive this car down the street. I think the Acura Integra ... Read More

Acura Integra automatic cars
Written by: deva2 on Jul 27, 2000 2:47:34 AM
Anyone know of troubles with the Acura Intera 2000 LS/GS automatic cars? My friend said a mechanic told him that Acura Integra 2000 models have some problems with its automatic transmissions. Anyway, I'm looking to buy my first car in a month, and I'm looking hard at the Acura Integra GS with the automatic - any reason not to?

Hi everyone. I am responding to you Kevin in particular. I am currently leasing a 2000 integra gs. It's been 2 months so far, and all is great. I put about $1200 down, and my figure is $305 a month for 36 months. I figure this is normal for the amount I put down. I love the car to death. Not too many GS's on the road where I live. Very ...
