Review

I've had this car for a year now and have had no problems until now. The engine is burning oil at the rate of about a quart a month. Fortunately I had been planning to do an engine rebuild before I realized the motor actually needed it. I bought the car with 72,000 miles on it so there could have been significant abuse to the engine prior to me owning it. Even still, I love my car and I plan to keep it forever. Overall it's a great car.

Favorite Features

Very reliable, good gas mileage (under 6000 RPM), and if you're willing to put the time and money under the hood you can get 200 horsepower out of the motor easily, it has very precise and responsive steering, awesome handling and braking. A great daily driver, and a great car at the track too.

Suggested Improvements

The engine is very strong but this car needs more rubber on the road to transmit the power. The stock 15 inch wheels with P195 tires are hardly enough to do the job. Seriously consider upgrading to 16 or 17 inch wheels to dramatically improve handling and braking.

Review

Bought this this preowned and been a reliable and great economy on the Gas. The insurance is another story. This a popular car for tuners as well. Basic bolt-ons yield big results. This is my 4th integra. Will buy another Acura!!

the Engine is a Revver. Suprises a lot of "Higher" Powered cars when u stay /or beat them!

Suggested Improvements

Interior is rather sparse but funtional. The Engine needs more torque.

I have never owned a better car and in 2 years ive owned a total of 9. This car has not given my a single problem, the exterior design is one of the best that Acura has ever conceived. The interior ergos are near perfect, seats are very comfortable and the fuel economy is simply awesome! I can get close to 40 mpg on the highway. I will always own Acuras, I had volkswagens that were NIGHTMARES, this car is perfect. Highly recommended. The only minor complaint i have is with the stock sound system, The clarity is very good but the overall bass isnt the greatest. However im changing the stereo out anyway.. Other then that, I swear by Acuras

Leather seats, classy exterior design, fuel economy, easy to live with all around car.

None.. Minus a little bit better sound system but thats just my preference

Awesome car but a few problems

I got the car with ~72k miles on it and It ran fine. Shortly after, I needed to get my B-pipe replaced. I got the 65k maintenence check and it cost $800 mainly because they had to replace a "frozen" brake caliper. After about a year, the hatch and the door started started sticking and I needed a driver's side and hatch door actuator. After that, the passenger window motor started dying so it stops a fraction of an inch before its actually shut. Yes the car is a blast to drive, and maybe I just got a problem child, but I can't say that I've had a very good GSR experience.

Favorite Features

This car is incredible to drive, it handles awesome, and it performs rather well, comfortable, paint is flawless

Suggested Improvements

revs very high in 5th gear on the highway, I've spent over $2,000 in maintenance/repairs in less than 2 years., the exterior styling, the front end is hideous, I hate how the GS-R looks like every other integra produced since 1994, it's a highly stolen vehicle

This is a great, fun car to drive. It accelearates quickly, corners well, and looks great. I have had no problems with the car since I bought it from the dealer.

Nothing but pure bliss. I hate paying insurance.

Favorite Features

Bigger engine, good build quality, people who tell me "nice car", leather, sunroof, cd.. the works.

it looks weird to me sometimes, but the rsx, though it is bubbly looking sometimes, is a big improvement in looks.

Wow! This car is just plain fun to drive! A true reasonably priced sports car. The car handles well, has great acceleration - it's a Honda. The AC is ice cold, heat is also great. The leather seats are soft, but give you the support you need while driving. The engine revs and begs to be pushed.

Favorite Features

The best feature of this car is the engine. Nothing else beats it. It's a Honda and it will never fail. This car is a testament to how superior the Honda badge is. VTECH also screams power!

Suggested Improvements

Hatchback is hard to close - closes better with door open. There isn't a whole lot of head room. I like to put my stuff in the back seat. I have to re-adjust my seat afterwards. However, great resale, awesome styling, the reliability of a Honda make it easily a top sports coupe.

Owning the car was a delight from the beginning. Everyone seems to love the car the minute they get into it. Ever since the first time i drove the car i knew it was the one for me!

the sporty exterior, moonroof, great handling...a car fit for the best

the car doesnt have much to improve, but two things i thought acura should of done was boost the base models hp to at least 155-160 and give it a better stock system (i need my music!) besides for that its great
