Non Functioning Instrument Panel and climate control lights

I recently had Best Buy install a new head unit in my 1997 Acura Integra and when I took it home I noticed my instrument panel and climate control lights are no longer functioning. I checked all the fuses and it still will not turn on. I noticed when I tried to dim or brighten the lights a fuse will blow. But now when I mess with the dimmer it no longer blows a fuse. Hi, i do have a 97 anniversary edition, as indicated by the anniversary edition "acura badge" fixed to the right rear section under the tail light. and, contrary to 1harry, the car does have an interior remote trunk release... i saw your email as part of my search to get more information about the anniversary edition.. I bought my 1997 Integra in July. I had to replace the battery and with that my radio/cd player (stock) was disconected. I need the error code to hook it back up. The code should be in my owners manual but sadly, I never got one. I've been told the only way to find the code is to either take out the deck and find the reference code on the back and from there call it into Acura ... Read More...

Hey Adam, I have the same thing happening to me on my 1997 Acura Integra GSR coupe. I have owned mine since it was brand new. Over the years there was that rattling noise around the 3500 or so rpm while shifting. To me it sounded kinda iffy like i should take it in and check it out. It looks like overall im going with an Acura Integra LS 2 door like I was saying before. I was thinking about going after a GSR because I've seen alot on autotrader between 94 - 96 with 150k miles going for about 5500 bucks. But I think I would be safer reliability and lasting wise going with a regular LS. Plus im sure itll go plenty fast for my liking. By budget is about ... Read More...
