I have a 1994 Acura Integra LS automatic with 165k miles. I had a valve adjustment done on the car. Immediately after the work was done and since that time the car has had poor gas mileage, a very rough idle, and loss of power. I had abolutely none of those problems before the adjustment. Before I take it back into the shop I would like to know if a bad ... Read More
I own a 1994 Acura integra GS-R and have had problems recently starting the car in the morning. The problem seems to be related to the not so cold September DC weather. When I depress the clutch to start the engine I have to be very careful about how far I depress the clutch pedal for the ignition to spark. Too little or too much and I get one click and ... Sounds reasonable, but I'd replace the OE radiator with a Fluidyne unit -- better cooling, stronger core, and it's much better made than the factory piece. http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=search.asp&t- - - ype=bykeyword&searchtype=both&part=fluidyne&x=15&- - - y=8 Acura: 1994-99 Integra, 38 mm tubes, aluminum, radiator For the same money, it's a better deal. (I need a reliable sporty car...my current car is a VW Corrado which is known to have many quirks and thus there were many things to look for to avoid in a used car, any such quirks ... Read More
I am looking at a 1994 Integra RS for my teen son to drive. It has 49k miles, origianl owner, auto PS, PB PW, stock radio. Has new tires, battery. Orig. exhaust and boddy VG condition. Does anyone have any experience with this model/year that I might help me make a decision? Thanks.
I have been looking now at some Integras. I am NOT a Honda person. Almost every car I have owned came from the (hiccup) lovely state of Michigan. The 1980 and 1986 Civics I had were horrible, the '80 lost its timing belt the day after I bought it, and the '86 blew its head gasket 130 miles after I bought it (temp gauge was stuck halfway between C and H). ...
