Edmunds.com and Chief Executive Magazine Name Top 5 Leisure Cars for CEOs
SANTA MONICA, Calif. — November 8, 2011 — Chief Executive Magazine and Edmunds.com, the premier online resource for automotive information, have released part two of their list of the "Top Wheels for CEOs." Part two focuses on five cars for a CEO's leisure time, and complements the previous list that identified the top five cars for work.
"When you're finally able to take a break, you want a car that's rewarding and enjoyable to drive without the curse of exotic maintenance requirements," says Michael Jordan, executive editor at Edmunds.com. "These cars break from the excess of Bugattis and Bentleys, and instead focus on the practical excellence of vehicles like Cadillacs and Audis."
The cars featured on the list are:
Jaguar XJ L Supersport — What it says about you: You have a soft spot for outrageous beauty.
Cadillac CTS—V Coupe — What it says about you: You can handle power.
Audi R8 4.2 FSI — What it says about you: When you kick back, you really kick.
Porsche 911 Turbo — What it says about you: You're a young tiger at heart.
Mercedes CL63 AMG — What it says about you: You love ultimate performances.
More commentary on these choices are featured in the November/December issue of Chief Executive Magazine and at http://chiefexecutive.net/top-wheels-part-2-five-cars-for-play.
