What is the coolest thing about working at Edmunds?

It's definitely the environment that makes Edmunds a great place to work. It encourages teamwork and allows you to meet your peers. It's not dull or robotic, and it's a chill atmosphere.

Tell us about your favorite Edmunds memory?

Whenever a co-worker would go on vacation, we would redecorate each others' desk. This was when we were still located in the Yahoo! Center across the street. At one point, there were three cubicles decorated in a row all year long. One was decorated with Easter bunnies with fake grass, one was fairy tale themed, and the last was a UPS store (full of boxes - and he kept some in there). Fun times.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love to go flying when I can. I have a pilot's license and can't imagine a life without it. All things aviation related grab my attention like a dog sensing a squirrel. Speaking of dogs, I love my dog, Goose (yes "Top Gun" reference), and enjoy taking him for a car ride and going on road trips. Speaking of trips, I love to travel and experience different cultures and histories. I was able to go to quite a few places this year including Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Switzerland, and Puerto Rico - had a great time in all. To spur on my creative juices, I've been getting into cinematography and editing - pretty fun. I think I've come to enjoy documentary styles. I could go on, but I'll spare you.

Tell us about your first car:

2006 Mazda3 s Sport Sedan. Actually used Edmunds to negotiate the price before I even worked for the company, pretty sweet.

Tell us about what you currently drive:

Still driving the Mazda3, 'til death do us part. But I also have a project 1993 Mazda Miata that's waiting for me to tweak it.
